At ClearChoice, we understand the issues that glasses or contacts can cause people in their daily lives. For many people, putting contacts or glasses on can be a nuisance, but for others putting glasses or contacts on can be more than just an inconvenience. For those who have suffered from traumatic injury can find performing everyday tasks more challenging and we are happy be there to help people who find themselves in those situations.
ClearChoice is a member of the of The Focus On Independence program and this program provides LASIK or other vision correction services at no charge to quadriplegics. The program is intended for patients who are over the age of 18, who have suffered a traumatic injury to the spinal cord and lost the use of their hands and/or arms which makes it difficult for someone to put on glasses without assistance. With the assistance of LASIK, we can help make normal daily life a little bit easier for people who have suffered these kinds of injuries.
Last year we were able to help a young man by the name of Michael Cantu and gift him free LASIK. We were so happy that we were able to help Michael, and we would be happy to do the same for others as well.
